Thought this situation applied to this forum topic. Not sure where to ask because don't want a bunch of smart ass comments. Just want some advice on what to do from some sharp folks on this situation:

"A guy I know" has a future 100/50,000 on auburn to win the title through an internet site: sb. We are flying into vegas before the game. Not sure wtf to do. a) that site reliable? b) hedge? if so, amount?

Please no bs remarks. Thank you for the advice.

hedge for sure.. as far as the amount, that all depends how much you want to guarantee yourself winning. i don't know what the money line is but that will obviously factor into your decision. if you take Florida st. on the money line and they lose, i'm guessing you'd have to pay immediately, before you get paid on the futures wager, so that's something to think about. Regardless, that's a hell of a bet and I would love to be in your spot. GL
